Keep your cool

Keeping an even tone to your voice – not too fast, too slow, too loud, too quiet – goes a long way to making sure your audience stays engaged. If you have a tendency to speed through, take deep breaths and speak slower than you would normally. And pauses are good for dramatic effect but shouldn’t go on too long.

Practice makes perfect
